Summer is coming and over at SYSL, that means tons of exciting new opportunities to start or deepen your yoga practice! Based on feedback from the members of the Scholé Yoga Collective, we are proud to announce the addition of new classes, styles, and practice times so that we can continue to support a regular practice for each and every one of you as we continue to grow and spread the word.

SCHEDULE UPDATES

Our shiny new summer schedule features shifts in some class start times, as well as several brand new classes, so be sure to check out your Scholé app to stay up to date. Here are the major highlights:

Starting in May, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday AND Sunday we will have a 9:00 am class to start your day out right. This time slot features at least one of each style, including a brand new REFRESH morning class taught by Madison! You can also continue to enjoy the 7:15 am and 9:30 am classes that have been so popular on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturday (yup, that’s right, Saturday!) evening classes will now begin at 5:30 pm, with a bonus 7:00 pm class on Mondays and Wednesdays. The Saturday 5:30 pm classes in May will be led by each of our interns one time each before being taken over by a faculty member. Our interns have been working hard these past few months assisting and even teaching small portions of classes taught by their mentors, so we can’t wait to experience all that they have learned, and hope to see you there!

Last but not least, we are adding two more classes to the weekend mornings - ELEVATE with Micah on Saturdays at 9 am, and a special FREE Summer series that will be offsite at the Gateway that begins at the same time. The regular 9:30 STRONG and DEEP classes on those days will be bumped to 10:15 so feel free to hit both OR sleep in a little and still catch a class ;)

STYLE BREAKTHROUGHS

Have you noticed all the Scholé ELEVATE classes popping up on the schedule lately? These workshop style experiences - led by our Founder Micah Scholes - have been a HUGE hit, so for May we are also rolling out some additional ELEVATE class times so that everyone can see what all the fuss is about. ELEVATE features a Scholé style warm up (you know how we do) with low lighting, sweet beats, and dynamic flowing movements that prepares you for a special workshop-esque portion in which we turn up the lights, off the music, and take time breaking down specific postures. This time allows everyone to have the opportunity to ask questions, get advice and tips, and learn new tricks! If you’ve ever seen a posture you’d like to know more about, whether it’s a crazy arm balance, or a great restorative twist, show up and get ready to have it broken down for you in simple and easy to understand steps that you can then take and practice in your regular Scholé practices with us during the week, or even at home. Like always, no previous experience, skill level, or knowledge of the postures is needed here - just the willingness to try something new.

UPDATED PRICING

One of our goals at SYSL is to offer a superior yoga experience while still maintaining price points that are achievable for the average person. This month we are rolling out a few price reductions on some of our favorite services and products. You can view the specifics on scholeyoga.com/studio, and existing members will automatically be rolled over to the lower pricing on their next billing cycle.

Not advertised, but very much available for each of our members is a brand new price for a new Meditation Pod option - just $49 for a 30 minute session! If you haven’t had a chance to check out our pod yet, this is a great option to give it a go at a lower price and less intimidating time frame ;)

SUMMER SEMESTER AT SYU

Registration has also just opened for our upcoming semester of Yoga Teacher Training here at Scholé Yoga University! The Summer semester is an intensive, meaning we meet up more frequently and therefore the course is quite a bit shorter than our Spring and Fall semesters (tuition is also less than in the Spring and Fall). If you’ve been waiting for the opportunity to deepen your practice, learn more about the history of yoga, and connect with other people striving for greater levels of health and happiness, then THIS is YOUR time! GATEWAY SUMMER SERIES

Come help us celebrate the new and improved Gateway downtown by practicing yoga with all of your favorite Scholé Yoga teachers! Starting May 7—and then continuing every Sunday throughout the summer—YOU and your crew are invited to join us for Yoga on the Plaza! DjMk will be spinning beats, each member of our faculty will teach a special 45 minute practice, and all ages and ability levels are welcome! The first 100 people will even receive a free yoga mat and goodie bag. This is a free event and no tickets are required. Bring a mat, a friend, and an open mind, and get ready to rock with us all summer long!
