Micah helps people BECOME THEIR OWN BEST TEACHER.

As the Dean of Scholé Yoga University, he has personally facilitated twenty-three yoga teacher trainings as well as countless workshops and electives. Students describe his teaching style as intense but empowering. His classes share the joy and inspiration that exist in every moment – even those that are uncomfortable or challenging. He firmly believes that the way yoga teachers can do the greatest good is to help people become their own best teacher.

Micah is also a consummate student, and has completed well over five thousand hours of training and study in the yogic arts. He is recognized by the Yoga Alliance at the highest level (E-RYT 500) and is also a certified Tai Chi instructor. In addition to exhaustive studies in yoga and meditation, Micah has four college degrees, including a doctorate in jurisprudence. As a bar licensed attorney, he is proud to have worked with the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office as well as numerous other nonprofit organizations that protect and serve the underprivileged and marginalized. In his spare time, Micah enjoys anything that gets him outside and connected to nature, especially rock climbing, surfing, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, marksmanship, camping, and other wilderness adventures.

Madison Kyle

Madison has dedicated her life to helping others find balance on and off the mat. 

As a Scholé Level Three Certified Guide, Madison offers public classes, workshops, and training courses in the Scholé tradition at a variety of locations. She has a special passion for working with elite athletes, and is the creator of a special yoga program for the US Olympic Speedskating Team. 

Madison has studied and practiced with many of the top teachers in the world, and prides herself on constantly remaining a student as she continues to expand her teaching. She is especially drawn to the art of music in yoga, and regularly performs live music under the alias "Dj Mk" at Scholé workshops and special events. In all her work, Madison strives to create an atmosphere that guides people towards empowerment and change within themselves.

Mikalyn Paulson

Mikalyn creates an environment where people can go deeper physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

She is Scholé Level Three Certified, an E-RYT 200, and has a degree in Behavioral Science & Health. In addition to guiding public classes and leading Scholé Yoga Teacher Training, Mikalyn is also the creator of Scholé Workplace Wellness, which delivers lasting health and transformation to workplaces everywhere. Her sense of humor, light-heartedness, and expert knowledge of behavioral psychology inspires students to grow and surpass far beyond what they thought possible.

Kristan has a passion for yoga and a drive to share it with the world.

She is Level Three Scholé Yoga Certified and a Yoga Alliance RYT 500. She started teaching during her first training and hasn't stopped since! In addition to founding her own corporate yoga company, she teaches Scholé classes, events, and trainings all over.

Kristan is the proud mother of three boys, and when not teaching, she often finds herself outside enjoying nature with her family. Her playful passionate yoga teaching instills confidence to her students through finding their strengths. She prides herself in the ability to be raw and a true lover of people and yoga. She is an entrepreneur and never stops growing. The essence of her teaching is in helping people find what lies beneath and forming connections all along the way.

SHANNON HELPS PEOPLE TO USE YOGA AS A TOOL TO HEAR THE WORDS OF COMPASSION AND EMPATHY SPOKEN WITHIN.

Once smitten with a serious case of wanderlust that took her from Canada to Kyoto, the Andes, Los Angeles, and other parts known and unknown, Shannon finally found home when she landed at Scholé. As Scholé's Director of Communications, she is instrumental in helping to shape the way we form connections and communications with our community. As a Level Three Certified Guide and lead facilitator at Scholé Yoga University, she strives to help her students become more comfortable with the inevitable uncertainty of life. Shannon knows that every emotion and experience has a lesson for us, and when words fail, a smile will take you a long way, whether to a strange country far away, or on your mat in a Scholé studio.

Vanessa is passionate about healthy living and sharing her knowledge with others.

She is inspired by the practice of mindfulness and is always searching for new ways to practice healthy eating and living. She feels that the practices of movement and meditation - the basis for all Scholé Yoga classes - are major influences in creating a healthy lifestyle. It was this belief that led her to develop the Scholé MOVE style, our unique version of kid's yoga. Vanessa is a Scholé Level Three guide, a facilitator at Scholé Yoga University, and also has her E-RYT 200/RYT 500 Yoga Alliance certification. Sharing the teachings of yoga in a fun, modern way brings fulfillment to Vanessa’s life. She is incredibly dedicated and passionate about her personal yoga practice and is always looking for new opportunities to grow and learn as a teacher and student.

Amanda is a lifelong student with a passion for learning and continual growth.

She is a certified AcroYoga International teacher, Scholé Yoga Level 3 Guide, RYT 500, and a Scholé Yoga University facilitator. Amanda enjoys the support, kind communication, and connection the practice brings. Scholé Yoga has changed her life, building intuition, confidence, & strength, and she loves to share this joy through teaching.

Fitness was Jess’s hobby and obsession long before it BECAME his profession.

After striving to live a fit and active lifestyle nearly his whole life, he decided to take his passion and learn to share it with others through certifications with NASM and NCSA. Teaching came naturally to him, but when he found himself in a Scholé Yoga class after nearly two decades of guiding others through a variety of physical disciplines, he found a new desire to learn more.

After completing over 500 hours of certification through Scholé Yoga University, Jess has begun to lead classes and courses of his own. He continues to inspire others through a variety of mediums, mainly weightlifting, mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and yoga. Jess loves the individual experience that comes inside a group Scholé class. His favorite parts of teaching involve the creative process: fresh music, interesting flows, and every individual’s freedom to make it their own. He is rewarded and inspired everyday by watching gains on the mat and the gym floor turn into positive influences that go far beyond the physical.
