Scholé NIDRA Teacher Training // WINTER 2019

Scholé NIDRA is a guided meditation practice that helps students learn to rest deeply and connect with their own inner truth. Scholé Nidra Teacher Training (SYNTT) is designed to enable guides to lead their students on inward journeys that deepen their personal connection with rest, insight, and restoration. Developed and led by Scholé Yoga University senior faculty member Shannon McPhee, this course is suitable for those who wish to guide Scholé NIDRA, as well as students who simply want to enrich their understanding of the transformative power of this unique meditation practice.

In this 45-hour intensive course conducted at Scholé Yoga Salt Lake, students will explore the Five Koshas of yoga nidra, the biology and neuroscience of rest, connection, and restoration, scripting a nidra journey, music for nidra practice, and practice yoga nidra in both public classes at Scholé Yoga Salt Lake and during SYNTT sessions. We will also explore an introduction to using crystal sound bowls during NIDRA practice, and students will have an opportunity for hands-on practice with the bowls. In addition to the course curriculum, expect to make and deepen connections with yourself while making new friendships with people who share a love of yoga, health and wellness.

Scholé Nidra Teacher Training (SYNTT) meets for public NIDRA practice from 6:45 - 7:45 PM Friday January 4, 11, 18, 25, February 1 and 8, as well as from 12:30 - 5 PM on Sundays from January 6 - February 10. Course tuition is $599, with $499 early bird pricing available if registration is completed before January 1, 2019. Previous graduates of Scholé Yoga Teacher Training or those joining the Spring 2019 semester of Scholé Yoga Teacher Training are eligible for early bird pricing of $449 if registered for both courses by January 1, 2019.
